NEWS ROUNDUP

FINANCING: Marcus & Millichap arranges $3.7 million financing. Marcus & Millichap arranged $3.685 million in financing for the acquisition of Beacon Commons, a 48-unit multifamily property leased by Beacon College, a private four-year college. Garrett Fierstein, senior director in MM’s Orlando office, secured the loan through a national credit union on behalf of a private client.

ACQUISITION: McNair Collegiate Partners advises LV Collective on land acquisition. McNair Collegiate Partners advised LV Collective on the land acquisition for Rambler Clemson, a 749-bed student housing development in South Carolina. McNair’s Mitch Holt and Jeyton McNair served as the advisors.

DEVELOPMENT: Endeavor breaks ground on 1,009-bed project. Endeavor Real Estate Group has begun construction on Juniper, its first project in Arkansas, a 1,009-bed student housing community in Fayetteville scheduled for delivery in summer 2028. The 294-unit development is being built with general contractor FaverGray, architect Modus Studio, and civil engineer Ecological Design Group, while Endeavor Opportunity Partners III and Marble Capital are investing in the project and JLL served as capital advisor.

DEVELOPMENT: CRG and Cole West break ground on 693-bed project in Utah. CRG and Cole West have started construction on Chapter Salt Lake City, a 251-unit, 693-bed student housing community near the University of Utah that is scheduled to open in summer 2028 for the 2028–29 academic year. J.J. Smith, executive vice president and partner at CRG, said the University of Utah has recorded six straight years of enrollment growth and now has more than 38,000 students, up more than 20 percent over the past decade.
